It covers almost everything HR related. I really like our current ADP rep, [sensitive content hidden]. She's been one of the most helpful reps that we've ever had.

Sometimes, it's difficult to get help or responses from staff.

Overall cost seems to be the lowest - we evaluate other PEOs at least every other year, and no one has been able to beat the price.

We are in Massachusetts, which requires us to contribute to PFML. ADP pulls the funds for this but is chronically late in paying the state, resulting in additional fees and interest (which ADP has to pay), as well as dunning letters. The PFML administrators have told us that many Massachusetts companies that use ADP TotalSource have trouble getting these fees paid. Nonetheless, it is our responsibility to make sure ADP makes these payments. So, we spend a lot of time chasing them to ensure that the state gets paid.
The service is highly variable. For the most part, the service has been poor and has gotten worse over time. We currently have a couple of people supporting us who are very responsive and that's a nice change.
The underlying software systems seem outdated.

Great resource for both our administration and staff.

There can be some wait time issues for services - but they are never too long.

Our Business Partner and, Payroll specialist do a wonderful job assisting us and making the whole process flow smoothly. Responsive and quick to resolve issues, we know any issues will be handled quickly, professionally with a friendly attitude.
Our Business Partners always do a great job helping with making Benefit selections and open enrollment.
The on-line system is fairly straight forward, and there is always our team we can contact if we run into any challenges.

Pricing model being percentage based does mean that when we raise salaries ADP's fee increases the same percentage.

Quality Corporate size benefits at a competitive cost.

Sometimes problem resolution using the portal isn't the quickest

Payroll processing is fairly simple. my direct reps, [sensitive content hidden] (payroll) and Goldie (admin) are great and alway seem to make a great effort to assist us.

software is a little outdated, integration between total source and time clock are poor. reports are not always what we need and cant be customized, not a lot of choices.

HR representative is a hard dedicated worker

No support from the Payroll team. I have to call each time I run payroll. The system is not calculating accruals properly and it is creating problems with the staff. We will be changing the policies so it will be more simple and accurate.

A full service one stop provider utilizing a co-employer model that helps a small organization such as ours to fulfil all of our HR obligations, as well as federal and state regulations, while offering our employees great benefits.

So much resources that I am at times too busy or lost to take full advantage of them.

The ability to give access as needed rather than having to put a case in.

Ease of payrol, tax deductions, reporting

Terrible interface on work force now, and retirement accounts. Limited option while doing payroll, ie PTO: does not allow one to personalize reasons why the many various reason people take off. Also it does not allow particular payments to employess as vacation' when employee would rather work for vacation.

The app and platform are both self intuitive and pretty esasy to use.

The turn around time on questions or on getting a hold of a rep.

In my opinion, product is geared more towards medium sized organizations with in-house dedicated HR/benefits personnel

One stop shopping. benefits, payroll, hr, 401k all in one package. Can always get a hold of someone on the payroll and benefits side. The representatives are fabulous! Always cheerful, and helpful. Also appreciate that the representatives are long term employees....other companies have lots of turnover which makes it hard for knowledge transfer. Also, it's cost effective these days.

Custom reporting is tricky...would like to see more standardized reports. It would be better to have the payroll billing reports to upload to the system faster.

Easy to connect with our customer service people

The pricing is a little high, but I've never been unable to have our service needs met

Simple punch in software for employees to use.

Total source lacked overall from system login to navigation for employees and administrators.

Website has been redone which makes it easier to navigate.

Reports can be a little complicated to pull.
