Paylocity Erfahrungen

It was convenient to have all my resources in one location thanks to the consolidated platform. In particular, their payroll system stood out. Compensating and paying out employees, as well as keeping tabs on their deductions and perks, has never been simpler. It was really easy to create and send out pay stubs with only a few clicks.

It took some time to become used to the platform's interface. It took me a bit to learn my way around the platform and figure out how to utilize it effectively, but I'm now well familiar with all of its features and capabilities. It would have been more efficient to adjust quickly if we had been given more specific instructions or training.

It is a rather easy to use product in terms of layout

It feels old and dated, somewhat frequent crashes when we were using it

Payroll is easy to use, you can input the hours manually or upload a spreadsheet

Customer Service is terrible if you have a questions they send you links instead of calling and helping

Paylocity is great and flawless. I have zero flaws.

Paylocity is so easy to use. Our company uses it to manage our punches, time off, and overtime. The app is the absolute best and makes for quick punches as needed during our shifts. I also like how easy it is to make changes to incorrect punches.

Sometimes the app glitches, and it has to be refreshed in order to work. The website lags just a little bit as well.

Paylocity makes all of our scheduling super easy. We have the ability to track all employee documentation. The learning portion is great as well since we can include our learning tools and create tests for understanding. Having a central place for the on-boarding process also makes it easy when hiring new associates. The entire platform is very user friendly and by far one of the best I have used.

There is nothing that I can say I disliked about the platform.

I liked the ease of the program and also the ability to check your 401K benefit status all in one place.

I don't have any negative comments. I loved it.

All my information is one spot, benefits, time off and company newsletters and HR information.

Some information I can't see on the mobile app and it forces me to login to the website.

Being able to clock in and out on my phone, viewing my check stubs, and viewing my W2's for tax season.

There was nothing that I did not like about Paylocity.

What I like about paylocity is being able to clock in from my phone, having access to my work schedule, and just being able to have anything pertaining to my job all in one app.

What I like least is it does take some time and exploration of the app to learn where everything is and to properly navigate the app.

It was easy to use and find things within the platform itself. I liked how HR could upload documents, colleagues could submit journal entries about you, you could add notes, etc.

I wouldn’t it say it was Paylocity so much as maybe our HR department not keeping up with PTO. It always looked like you had more than you did because they were behind.

I like that I can see everything from my paychecks to staff birthdays.

I don't like how the app interface can be tricky sometimes and hard to understand. I also have had some trouble accessing paychecks in the past when I have multiple accounts connected.

Paylocity offers a broad range of HR-related tools all in one interface. It is easy for employees to navigate their time tracking, scheduling, and benefits selections.

The reports require a lot of formatting work when exported to Excel.

Direct deposit timing can be inconsistent.

Paylocity has some really great features like a payroll import for one-off charges, reimbursements, etc. They also offer a preview payroll register so multiple people can review before it gets transmitted.

When we started with Paylocity, we had a dedicated point of contact who everyone in the office used from HR to accounting-we all spoke the same language. That person seems to change very frequently now so there is less of a feeling of comfort like someone knows our business needs.

The ease of everything being done in one place. I can view my paycheck breakout, I can edit my address and tax codes, update my checking account information and the % allocation of my paycheck between accounts, etc.

The one thing I can think of is that last year I updated my address in Paylocity and it didn't update my tax codes. I had moved from one state to another, and my paycheck didn't switch from taxing me from the previous state to the new one. I didn't realize this until reviewing my W2 once the year was done. I asked HR and they let me know that I have to flag to them when I change my email address so that they can go in and manually update the tax codes. I would think those should automatically update with the change of address, so that's my one recommendation!

At my previous job (200+ employees), the support team I worked with at Paylocity was very knowledgeable, effective and efficient. Issues were fixed promptly, guidance was easy to understand, responsiveness was great, support team were knowledgeable and easy to work with.

At my current company (25+ employees), dealing with Paylocity is a nightmare. The team assigned to me takes MONTHS to address/fix an issue, they are badly trained and not very knowledgeable, some are patronizing, they send you back and forth from a call to an email, from an email to a call without a resolution; what should be a quick matter takes a lot of time and energy and stress to get resolved; when I needed to escalate, I did not receive a call back from the manager, etc. I would not recommend Paylocity for a small company, because the support is dreadful.
