Great for larger practices. I most like that Valant values what we (as users) have to say and they do actually make updates in accordance, unlike many platforms. Schedule and documentation are very easy to use. Great for large practices. Easy to use overall. Easy billing, but there are still bugs.

There are bugs. I also hate that we can't send out a link to e-sign documents - so new clients need to make a portal account and then we have to remember to send them the forms through the portal afterward. This is quite difficult. I wish there was a way to just send a new client the link to the intake forms like Kaero and AdvancedMD. However, they made adjustments to the portal that make it easier to use and I don't doubt that they will continue doing so. I must say that since the beginning, we were VERY unhappy with Valant. We feared that they will increase the pricing on us after the first year, making it financially infeasible to keep the platform - we still haven't signed on for next year, so I'm not sure if this will happen. I wrote a very negative review before, but I felt the need to update it because Valant is really making progress with bug fixes and new updates, which we really appreciate. Overall, I'm happy that we chose Valant now and while praying they don't screw us with the new rates, I'm looking forward to new updates as they come.

Valant was the best choice for our behavioral health clinic. They continue to update and expand features that have improved the functioning of our system. It has saved time and worked well with our systems. Billing was a major improvement and linking to our Calander and notes was essential.

There are some features in the assessment and MTP that could be improved for our particular uses. Also billing is slightly complicated and could be simplified with some small adjustments. I do however appreciate the flexibility.

Though Valant might be more expensive than other EHR's I feel it is worth the expense. The onboarding experience was excellent. Customer service is exceptional. I am very pleased with the integrated credit card processor, claim submission process & video format. The system is stable, reliable etc.

It's on the expensive side. It takes extra time to learn the system & I only use a small fraction of the EHR. It does not provide measures/screens for gambling disorder.

I like the electronic prescribing, the reports on measures, and the flexibility of setting up note templates.

There is a learning curve, but I think that would be the case with any EHR.

Easy to navigate and get around when trying to find things.

Some time it works really slow especially when working remotely.

The ability to see when clients are checked in for appointments and to pre-document notes using the macros tab, increased productivity!

That I have to go into a note to "dismiss" the note instead of being able to just right client to delete it.

Ease of ERA posting verses hand inputing

Modifiers are time consuming to add and some reports are not easy to use

A lot of the features that Valant provides are essential for our business. We are happy with the constant updates and ongoing evolution of the software. It has improved dramatically since we started using this system 5 years ago.

Initially there were features that were not available which now are. The evolution of the system has been quite positive.

Nothing. A special word should be invented specifically to describe how frustrating this EHR is.

No customer service whatsoever. When you make an appointment, they don't show up, and this happens repeatedly. Extremely difficult to use. Paying for essentially nothing, because it is not usable.

Valant is pretty easy to use and navigate.
I appreciate that Valant is always making updates or fixes to common issues.

What I like least is the lack of enough information provided about scoring some assessments available in the HELP section.

Intuitive User Interface: The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate, which enhances efficiency in daily tasks.

Cost: The pricing structure may be perceived as expensive for smaller practices or individual practitioners, potentially limiting accessibility.

Very organized and built for mental health.

Can be a little quirky requiring refresh often.

The documentation, billig and scheduling is efficient. Receipt of ERA's and the ability to automatically apply payments is time saving. Reports are useful.

With regard to reports, start AND end date options would be helpful (productivity reports). I do not like recent changes made to the diagnosis screen (ICD vs. DSM to search for codes) this has made it more time consuming for mental health providers used to DSM codes. Also, the inability to apply a credit card payment for insurance payments similar to how you can with patient payments is frustrating.

Customer support is unresponsive, and implementation suggestions are not listened to.

many times ( most recently ) frequent weekly updates that say the use will not be affected but in fact it does, the system becomes very slow and consumes very valuable time another con as the company has grown , been there since 2014, personalized help is hard to find

Easy access, easy to navigate, excellent support

I'm satisfied with all aspects. I am especially pleased with the support team that still allows for phone access. I appreciate easy and quick access to notes.
