We have been using TigerPaw for awhile. Our start experience was the best, but we had spent all this money so we dug our heals in and made it work for our company. In the last 3 years, I have noticed major improvements in functionality and customer support. They are certainly more customer minded!

Vorteile

The support staff is great to work with. They are friendly and courteous.
We can track everything we need and then some.
It is fairly intuitive for users.
It integrates great with Microsoft and Quickbooks!
Software helps us to automate our business systems and will only get as we learn and utilize more of the system.

Nachteile

Mobile app was cumbersome and slow. We go into areas with poor reception and WiFi isn't always an option. The app was just too slow.
The cost for the training sessions is a bit much for small "mom and pop" business. It would be great to see a tiered price point based on number of employees.

I noticed in a few years other pos companies and software developers were using it as well. They were more super users. I kept it simple and got out of it what we did best service.

Vorteile

Ease of set up and use. Modular based so you could purchase what you need. 2 purchasing, 4 dispatch,...we mainly used for tracking service calls and technicians performance. End of the year or quarter I could see and show the customer what they received for the maintenance dollars they were spending. Also we could tell if we needed to raise rates on certain equipment, based on number of failures. This software takes it all the way through billing. I never went that far. It did what we needed and functioned as sold. Was very happy with the investment, paid for itself in a year.

Nachteile

Can’t remember any down side. Best money I spent to help run the business. That’s not a con. But the truth.

Additionally, we were PROMISED that TigerPaw would integrate seamlessly into QuickBooks. Never did happen and after numerous calls to support we gave up. We were given some ridiculous price to have a "specialist" accomplish this for us. The sales staff is nice the support staff is horrible. Before you buy TigerPaw please do your due diligence and demo other applications. Read the review online about TigerPaw.

Vorteile

The only pro is that is TigerPaw has 5000 features that actually become cumbersome, annoying and difficult to use. We found ourselves only using a few of the modules of the 8 years of having the product as other applications accomplished these tasks more efficiently.

Nachteile

The software is extremely dated and seems as if it has been bolted together over the years. This creates a situation where there is a lot of steps and wasted time in trying to accomplish a task that should be simple. Additionally, all of my employees have hated it and complained repeatedly about better and more user friendly software they have used elsewhere.

I am very grateful to have a team of people who work so hard for us every day. The team treats us like we matter, they care if we are happy and we are much more than a ticket number to them. In a world where customer service is not readily available through most companies, Tigerpaw is knocking it out of the park.

Vorteile

Tigerpaw has a product that meets our needs at every level of our business, from sales to operations as well as inventory and accounting. They hear our recommendations and work with us to implement change that meets our ever changing industry!

Nachteile

I would like to see Tigerpaw open up their application to integrate with other software more readily. We use several software pieces for different aspects of our service to clients and if they could integrate into Tigerpaw, we would save time and money. Integrations seem to be the biggest downfall of this software.

We have been using Tigerpaw since 2010. We use pretty much every module / every aspect of it to run our entire business. It is not perfect, but overall, it does a good job in almost every area. What sets Tigerpaw apart is the people working there. They are down to earth and always trying to help. They really care about you and your business.

Vorteile

The people. They are there to help. Support is never more than a phone call away. The software has a lot of modules and features to help run your business.

Nachteile

They sometimes feel understaffed on the development side and new features do not get done as fast as you would hope.

Vorteile

Excellent service ticket tracking and reporting. Very easy to assign contract information to service tickets and also track billable time. Extensive reporting capability and expense tracking. Easy to manage customer contracts. Good all in one solution for support organizations. Very reliable, never had any issues accessing the system in the 20 years we have been using it.

Nachteile

Lacking capabilities for use as a Sales CRM. Requires us to use a different solution for our sales staff.

Program has a lot to offer and record keeping abilities. TAG partner is a plus. STS has been with TP since 1980's era of DOS.

Nachteile

Interconnectivity with QuickBooks. Some features requested over time still not implemented. Separate non-licensed schedule multiple boards.

Vorteile

Great tool for billing and quoting. The amount of details and personalization is great. Overall Rev.io is very good at what it does.

Nachteile

Links don't open in a new tab automatically, which will be better. Quotes should be able to be seen as a quote after you turned into an order.

TigerPaw has been great to work with in guiding us through set up specific to what we do. As a Medical Equipment Distributor and Service Organization, we are in a little different market but TigerPaw's helped us address any needs as they've come up.
In my opinion, the CRM aspect of the program is better than any that I've seen in the 25+ years that I've used the system for sales. Along with the Opportunities Management and the benefits of the Field Service Components we are able to effectively do everything we need to in our business.

Vorteile

Enterprise-wide Integration of function and visibility between Sales, Marketing and Service.
Responsive to needs specific to our business.
Stability of the company - 25+ years personally working with the system.

Nachteile

The Mobile App is extremely robust so use is limited to wifi for us. Other than that, we are very satisfied.

Vorteile

- Most features/functionality are easy to use
- Rich built-in feature set
- Great for managing data; from proposal/quote to the final invoice
- Workflow is a great feature to ensure key groups/individuals are notified as "things" happen (quote status changes, service order status changes, SO is invoiced etc...)
- Add-on's like Web Portal - Exchange Connector are a must for our us
- Support staff is always helpful and normally they have an answer to our questions within a single phone call

Nachteile

- Some of the limited functionality i.e. telephony and all of its parts/requirements
- Occassional odd/unexpected behavior within various components

Overall average experience due to the lack of versatiliy and add on use as a CRM system, the mobile app was rudimentary. We moved away from Tigerpaw after a few years.

Vorteile

Great software to manage field service activities for smaller team. We had a team of 15 using it without issues

Nachteile

It is not a very good tool for CRM outside service. We used it for a while as a sales CRM system, but it was not a great solution

Vorteile

Ease of use, sales cycle flows well. Technicians are well organized via the integrated calendars - soon to be installing the mobile application. Bridges to QuickBooks - initially manually, but the process is now automated. Any assistance we've required over the years, their customer support group have always been there to help, very happy with their service.

Nachteile

Annual support cost - especially doesn't help when we're in Canada and also have to deal with the exchange rate.

Ease of use... I was able to take on-line classes and learn what was needed to do the implementation quickly. Data is logical, and can be downloaded and manipulated and then uploaded

Nachteile

Changing screen content is a major change. Some of the screens need different data and you cannot make changes yourself.

Spent money. Found problems. Support turn their backs on us. The software is useless. The only people who use it successfully have naively poored far more resources and made unecessary internal process changes to support this lacking software.

Vorteile

On the surface tigerpaw seemed like a good all in one solution. Sales people told us what we wanted to hear.

Nachteile

Works poorly or just doesn't work at all. Tigerpaw is not a sleek silicon valley company using the latest technologies. They are relics of the 90s tech boom that never evolved.

Allow the marketing services team to process troubleshooting requests and service requests that came directly from customers submitting a ticket online. There are a lot of online resources about how to get the most out of Tigerpaw, that helped me streamline these front end processes and similar tasks time and time again

Vorteile

The desktop version of the product has a lot of functions that help in database management and ensuring service reps are up to speed with customer service requests, on the intake and processing of requests.

Nachteile

There were a great number of features that our package came with that were used only once in a while, therefore were not fully taken advantage of. I would of liked to have had more product customization at the beginning so we could be more selective of features we really need.

We discovered that once you choose a billing platform, you're married to it, and it's painful to get a divorce. In spite of the termination fees from our previous provider, we decided to go with Rev.io to support our need to scale.

Tigerpaw is a great add on to Quickbooks

Easily integrates with Quickbooks desktop. Can view the exported data prior to import. Allows deposits within the software and allows proper mapping into Quickbooks.

Nachteile

Requires internet connectivity to export and import data. There could be a short delay. Overall there isn't major downside.

I have been through several software installations now, and Rev.io has by far been the most reactive, innovative and quick turn around R&D I have ever experienced. Have a good idea? Game on for Rev.io, to the point where it is actually exciting to read the Rev.io change alert emails I get nearly daily! The only problem I have experienced with them is in the follow through with customer service. We lost our main contact and had to call to find out. Our new contact seems either overwhelmed or too busy to keep meetings. If they would invest in customer service a bit more, they would be perfect... but nobody's perfect, so their R&D team just makes them awesome!
