ContractSafe is very easy to implement and definitively solved our problem of securing contracts and keeping track of the contract's lifecycle.

Documents can take a while to load, which means we've had to enable the feature whereby users can download copies to their harddrive in order to view faster. Ideally, I'd like to prevent users from downloading contracts.

There is a wealth of customization available throughout the system is great. Specifically in creation of reporting, creating views to utilize and share, having personalized control on addition of new fields/forms without having to reach out directly to developer to bake in the coding is a huge plus. The company is engaged and interested in feedback from users and seems to care about further improving their product on an ongoing basis. They are open to involving customers in suggestions for updates and are quick to respond to issues with positive results for all parties.

There are aspects of the software that lacks in refinement. The software itself is not bad in any way, but there are certain items I've seen in other Document Management software programs that is either not possible in ContractSafe or not yet mapped out.

Potential for "IF - THEN" statements in the software would be beneficial, but not strictly necessary. Coding for summary pages is unfortunately restricted to a certain formatting. For companies attempting to manage a larger number of contracts and granting access, there are are some pain points that a smaller company may not necessarily encounter. It would be nice if the User Access Settings would list more information for the user than just their email address: such as the user's first and last name, access granted date, an identifying region or area that links them to a potential "group" within ContractSafe would make it easier to apply bulk action changes.

The software has not overwhelmed us yet. However, the support we have received from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], our account rep, has been outstanding so for now, I would only recommend use of this software if [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] can be your account rep.

It does not have the expected capability (to create a template and generate contracts from this template within Contract Sate).

I like the ability to link additional documents to our contracts. The feature to maintain expiration dates and send reminder emails is also a very valuable tool. The pricing and onboarding resources also helped in making decision to purchase Contract Safe. It is very simple to configure and use. We are starting with our It contracts but will move to areas of our organization in a few months.

The only thing I think could be improved to date is allowing customization of the forms, fields and views at lower price point.

We have been very pleased with ContractSafe and have watched it grow and improve over time. The customer service has been great and any time we encounter a bug or spot an area for potential improvement we can tell our feedback is heard. ContractSafe is clearly designed for legal teams. The fields that are mapped to metadata are exactly what legal teams want to know and track. The ability to search anywhere within a document is excellent. It integrates well with DocuSign. The permissions and reminder functions are well set up.

ContractSafe is rapidly trying to roll out an AI feature that will read your contracts for you and pull out some of the metadata reducing the need for manual entry. While a laudable goal, right now the feature is still weak. Also a con is the fact that this is not a full lifecycle contract management solution, but it never pretends to be and doesn't charge as if it is.

First and foremost, the training that was provided during the implementation process was amazing! The virtual tour of the program gave us a deep dive into how we can best utilize all of the functions and develop strategies on how to organize our folders, custom fields and tabs. We were uploading contracts and organizing our information right away, and within days were seeing the true value of this solution. The help section not only provides great articles and videos, but the customer service team is always quick to respond if we have a question.

Honestly, i haven't found anything i don't like yet. But i am confident, when i do the contract safe team will be there to help me work through that challenge.

I LOVE ContractSafe! Other “solutions” are too big, expensive and cumbersome. Customizing ContractSafe is so simple and I get just what I need the moment I need it. I no longer need budget dollars and months to make a change that improves efficacy, visibility, or compliance.

I’ve been a professional contract administrator for nearly 20 years, implemented at least 6 other contract management systems, and I’m always impressed by ContractSafe’s ease of use and immediate and helpful customer service (which is rarely needed.)

Unaware of an email repository; it could be helpful.

The tickler system, ease of uploading/emailing completed Contracts, reports, signature integration, document presentation, format, availability to customize entries/folders, and overall ease of backend management of the Contract.

I would like more one on one training/availability of ad-hoc in person questions and not have to watch a video for help. Videos are great, but usually when I need help, it is an immediate need. The AI is OK but I cannot use it as it does not put information in correct places probably due to our Contract format.

AI Technology, Categorization, Reporting

We thought it was weird the notes section didn't allow spaces. Minor inconvenience.

It is so easy to learn and use. Search capability and OCR are awesome. I like being able to scan directly to ContractSafe. Permissions are easy.

I wish there were folders. The tags and various ways of categorizing documents are so good that it's not a deal breaker though.

Contract Safe has important features for a minimalist approach to storing contracts, without multiple layers of functionality that is not needed. For PDFs it is wonderful to locate and find OCR text recognition work immediately and to store in folders in a simple creative fashion.

Being able to find the right contract is not always easy depending on the search term, but after a few tries, it works well.

Easy to use, manages all the keys things such as autorenewals, date reminders, versions. Has all the important bits such as user specific permissions and reporting. Huge benefit is the customisable elements such as forms, folders and reports.

The AI is good but slightly slow at the moment but I understand it is improving and I very much believe that given the responsiveness developers have had to feedback and improvements over the last year.

We are a low-level user without the full benefit of all its features. And even with what we have, it sure does wonders. The amount of information it stores in easy to use and easy to access folders and location speaks volumes. Having the ability to tailor the folders, make Tags that work for me, set due dates and reminders, and customize the views is just incredible.

An ability to export data into an Excel format would be terrific. Than again, with more expensive versions, that might exist and I just don't know it.

ContractSafe covers all areas necessary to easily store, retrieve and report on contracts, service orders, etc.

If one improvement could be made, I feel it would be to have a choice of dates used to determine the term calculation. This is very minor.

Ease of use. It is so easy to upload and categorize documents. The user interface is seamless and instinctive. It is so easy to manage deadlines and make sure that we are all working off the most current document. Emailing important reminders and deadlines has streamlined our functionality.
Customer Support is there anytime I have needed it.

I only wish that this software was developed sooner!

This software has allowed us to store all of our contracts and related documents in one secure place. The question of "is this in the contract?" is easily answered now that we have ContractSafe. I love that all documents are made searchable.

The one thing that I would improve in ContractSafe is the ability to create an annual review form without having to redo the form each year. I like that answers carry over, but when I want my team to review the contracts annually and have them answer a specific set of questions year after year, I have to manually go in, change the questions and then order them in the new review template.

Our company loves that this tool is Cloud based. We can access contracts from any location. The tool also offers the ability to link contracts and utilize keyword search which makes contract organization and access a breeze. In addition, ContractSafe lets an organization customize its users access; from full permission to view only.

The only thing that would make this software better is if it had the ability to show renewed and/or addendum agreements under the same heading. With contracts renewing annually and addendum's being continuously added, we may have 10 or more line items for one contract at any given time. We link associated agreements, but being able to take it a step further and organize connected contracts under the one heading would make it cleaner and more efficient.

Software is user friendly and intuitive. The alerts and amendment functions are key to have in our business and help us keep our contracts straight.

I wish that we can re-Type multiple contract easily. We currently have to go into each record. Other than this, it works great.

Easy to use. The updates they have made recently have really streamlined the process of organizing and finding contracts once they are uploaded to the system. They have it set up to create reminders for contracts that are important but can be lost in the shuffle when you work with hundreds of contracts. The customer service is really quick and helpful whenever there is an issue or question.

Would like more integrations made available such as RightSignature. I don't like that I can only be logged into the software for an hour at the most.

It's so extremely easy to use and set up. It gives us all that we need without having to spend hours of development and training for users.

I haven't found anything I don't like just yet! I researched to find a software that would meet our needs as we outlined them, and ContractSafe meets them all so far!

It makes the entire contract management process very efficient for everyone in our organization!

To be honest, not many. Very satisfied with this software!

Customization of fields, reminders, great customer service

Managing folders and subfolders is not intuitive. Would be useful to have drag-and-drop capabilities for certain access levels.

Ease of use, security and service

Excellent customer support. Very easy to learn how to use. Has a simple lay out and the administrator settings are very simple and clear.

Sometimes feels like quite newly developed software, still a lot of aspects still being improved but even in the short time I have been using it any changes that have been made have been very positive and helpful. Think improvements could be made to speed up the work of those who spend hours a day in CS. AI is very poor and never used.
