The registration reports are easy to run and informative.
Registrants receive automated confirmation emails with the required paperwork for them to print, complete and upload right to their family portal.
We can send group email reminders with the click of a button.

We run two summer camp programs in different states, and need to log in and out to go between the programs. I wish we could "toggle" between the two camps.

It is easy. We can't "break" it. It is intuitive. This system meets our needs and since we only need it for our summer camps we quickly snap back in to the system each summer because it is so easy to use. We love that it keeps all of our data from year to year and we can quickly and easily compare one year to another.

It won't make name tags for us. It won't make car tags for us the way that we want them.

Ability to watch registrations closely and mark important information.

The Inability to reach uploaded documents easily.

I like that it is mostly intuitive, and that there is a lot of customization available.

There are a number of features that seem like they should be there that are not. Being able to create separate registration forms is a frustrating experience, and there are often issues with registering on mobile.

Camp and Class Manager helps to keep our record-keeping organized and stress-free. We have made the various fields of information work for us in our educational setting, not just our summer camp program. From a monthly registration system point of view, this product is an amazing time saver and organizer.

The Membership area is a bit confusing because we are not able to get monthly deposit income easily from the members, but there is a workaround we have created. If there were a not-for-profit discount, it would be even more amazing.

YPI has been using Camp & Class Manager since it's inception. Customer service has been great in helping to overcome the initial obstacles of setup and reports. I have been approached but other services but remain loyal to Active because of their willingness to listen to suggestions.

There are still some data that I cannot retreive easily but overall I have figured our workarounds, I wanted to work with promotions but each of the programs did not work for us.

This program is so easy for us to set up our upcoming summer camps and then get the registration links out to our members. Since we have used this company for many years the pricing is incredible. The added features of reports and financials is huge for us.

The biggest issue we have with this product is the "programs" Active attempts to sell our customers at the time their registrations. It has caused many of our members frustrations when they are billed for things they didn't realize they were being signed up for.

As a Language School, we are in the business of maximizing enrollments and are accredited. ActiveKids has allowed us to streamline our processes and grow. It is much more than a CRM, it is a registrant-only archive that bears our growth chart over the years!

We sometimes have to hand hold registrants in the ACTIVEKIDS enrollment process when they are not savvy enough oomph to do it on their own.

There are not a lot of pros. Once information is inputted, you can generally customize a report to get the data you need.

It is clunky and difficult to use, customer support is non-existent, and we are unable to help our customers problem solve issues with our accounts. Emails don't get sent out randomly, making it impossible to use for communication with our classes.

Once you know the tool, easy to use and plenty of options.

For sport teams, it misses a lot of option and possibilities.... especially an app connected to the main account. (like teamsnap)

Registration and reports are fairly easy to use once you get an understanding of the product

Use of the product, terminology and customization can be quite complicated at times

I like that everything is online. I love that you can transfer registrations, issue refunds, and compare camp seasons.

There is not an easy way to set up team camp registration.

I love how easy set up is and continues to be, duplicating sessions, changing details depending on which session it is, is so easy. I can add discounts, add coupons, adjust things and pull reports for what I need.

I wish I had the ability to change the "share" with friends text and imagery functionality for my customers to share with their friends on socials.

The flexibility it allows us when setting up multiple camps at different locations with various themes, ages etc.

At times the back end is a little hard to navigate when making changes or trying new things.

Those working in customer service were super helpful in helping me transfer files from Jump Forward camps to CCM. For that, I am thankful!

The only concern for us was how it would compared to JF camps, which we used for years. Once used to CCM, things get easier!

Easy for people to sign up from home. Efficient, and detailed booking information.

When we have had issues the support team wasn't the best.

The functionality allowed for lots of choices specific to our company and how we listed our offerings. We could allocate multiple skill levels to each class and create platforms - with the help of their wonderful support staff - and edit easily on our own. Also, at the time, the system was not compatible with Chrome and had crashed on us a few times when we opened enrollment. Eventually, they would have staff at the ready when we opened enrollment to help if things went south. The system also could not handle the traffic we created and people would be in a virtual line waiting to get their enrollment complete - sometimes losing the spot in the class they wanted while they were waiting.

The pricing set up was based on our income and not just a monthly charge. The more we made, the more they made. We left because of this. We moved to iClass Pro to get a simple monthly charge and the more we made, the more we made.

The customer side of the website was user friendly. It was easy to talk parents through who called in needing assistance.

Not all of the reports had what we needed. Also, not all reports exported into excel in a clean format.

I love the fact that no matter what type of program I'm setting up, whether it is summer camp or an after-school activity, I can create the registration to fit my needs. Being able to design the registration allows for a streamlined report running process. Active's customer service is attentive and has answered of all my questions and more! Sometimes, I'm given multiple answers and I'm able to pick the one that works best for our programs.

The Active program could benefit from not always reverting back to the default when running reports.

This software was extremely easy to navigate through and learn the ins and outs. My roster for preschool and summer camp hovers around 300 families and their registration process was smooth. I am able to do so many things like assign classes/groups, print reports, review waitlists and so much more.

The ONLY thing I did not like was that families were automatically enrolled in the ACTIVE site which cost a yearly fee that was charged to their credit card and many of them had no idea.

We have used Active for our camps programs for many years, and are very pleased with its functionality, reliability, speed and support

There is a learning curve; not unexpected given the complexity of the functionality
