Wir bearbeiten umfangreiche Kataloge und Broschüren in diversen Sprachversionen. Anstatt wie früher unzählige E-Mails hin und her und an verschiedene Personen zu senden, haben wir jetzt ein zentrale Stelle, wo Kommentare, Korrekturen und Freigaben kollaborativ erfolgen.

- Nahezu ausschließlich positive Rückmeldungen aus dem Kollegenkreis

- Kleinere Projekte mit nur einem Ansprechpartner besser über Teams und direkten Kontakt abwickeln

-nur Personen einladen, die tatsächlich am Projekt beteiligt sind. Um die Zahl irrelevanter Kommentare zu begrenzen

"Klicken um ein Kommentar zu erstellen" Dort kann ich im Reviewer genau die Stelle markieren, die ich möchte. Dies ist in Videos besonders Vorteilhaft, da man auch die genaue Sekunde markieren kann.

In Zeiten wie diesen fände ich eine App vorteilhaft, wo man zu mindestens die Dateien anschauen kann, die hochgeladen wurden

Filestage ist sehr übersichtlich und einfach zu bedienen. Kommentare können direkt markiert werden und vereinfachen dadurch das Feedback nachzuvollziehen. Das Hochladen einer neuen Version ist auch möglich und wird in der Übersicht angezeigt.

Manchmal sieht die Vorschau etwas verschwommen aus und es ist nicht möglich Vektordateien anzuzeigen.

Wir haben Filestage in der Zeit implementiert, in der zu 99% aus dem Homeoffice gearbeitet wurde. Und vor allem in dieser Zeit, wo man nicht über die Schulter rufen und mit Händen erklären kann und jede Feedbackschleife eine E-Mail war, hat uns das Programm sehr entlastet.
Mittlerweile wickeln wir alle möglichen (grafischen) Freigabeprozesse der Abteilung über Filestage ab. Es können alle möglichen Dateitypen freigegeben werden. Pro Projekt werden nur die Personen involviert, die auch tatsächlich benötigt werden. Und selbst Kolleg*innen, die noch keine Einarbeitung in das Programm hatten, finden sich recht schnell zurecht.
Besonders begeistert sind wir vom kompetenten, kritikoffenen und absolut freundlichen Kundenservice von Filestage. Sowohl in Online-Meetings als auch per E-Mail werden alle Fragen geduldig und hilfreich beantwortet.

Bisher haben wir noch keine Funktionen gefunden, die uns stören. Die kleinen Details, die uns hier und da fehlen, werden immer gern vom Kundenservice angenommen und weitergegeben.

Filestage bietet eine einfache Form der agilen Teamarbeit. Es wird allen Mitgliedern leicht ermöglicht, Dateien hochzuladen, Kommentare zu hinterlassen oder sich gegenseitig auf Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten hinzuweisen. Außerdem muss man nicht täglich nachschauen, ob sich etwas neues getan hat, sondern man wird per Mail benachrichtigt.

Mir ist teilweise eine längere Ladezeit des Tools aufgefallen.

Die Reaktion unserer Kunden, sie haben sich sehr schnell in Filestage zurechtgefunden.

Unser Haupttool ist Asana, manche Kunden binden wir in Asana ein. Wir haben einen Konflikt, wann wir Asana einsetzen und wann Filestage.

Easy to use and understand for collaboration purposes - if somebody needs to leave feedback on a specific file that requires updates, it's simple to do this.

Some processes are a little slow/laggy, but it's not enough to impact my recommendation or overall workflow.

Good for gathering input from many people.

The new interface is not good. It is not intuitive. It was MUCH better before.

That everyone can see everyone's comments, avoiding contradictory ones. Easy, collaborative, organized.

Images are not shown in full crop when opening them, you always need to zoom out
Possibility to "archive" images in a specific stage, let's say we send out multiple angles to a client, and they chose 3 out of 6 - to clean up that stage (but not delete the previous images if we would need them later) so it would only contain the images that we will continue working with?

We use Filestage for all review processes of images, layouts, films etc. both internally within our team and with clients. The software is easy to use and self-explanatory to a large extent. Even clients who only need to approve images from time to time can use Filestage quickly and intuitively. The handling of our approval processes as well as transparency has improved significantly and Filestage contributes significantly to our quality assurance.

Nothing really. There are certainly one or two functions that would make the software even better, but new functions are being implemented little by little and the needs of the users are being intensively addressed.

I like the fact that it is easy to share files with team members and also people outside your organisation.

Sometimes the versions management can be quite complex at times.

FileStage does what you'd hope it does, and does it quickly and easily. At the simplest level, it provides a platform for all levels of dicussion to take place on files in-progress and under review. Start to delve a little and powerful customisation becomes available.

The mobile version works, but lacking a dedicated app it's not as smooth an experience as the desktop.

I have a website and video production company. The review process is now a snap. I simply send the filestage link - instruct the client to leave all the feedback on there, then we will execute all their reviews for a flat "revision" cost - since endless revisions are the least profitable part of the job.

I had a bit of trouble with the annotation feature early on. It turns out the google adblock plugin breaks some of the code so I just disabled it on filestage.io

Customer support is great. They're very friendly. I like that it's effortless to upload and share files. It saves time.

There is nothing worth noting that I dislike.

It's the easiest way to review products. Very good documentation all over the review steps.

At least, sometimes the direct Link doesn't work. But you can always invite people.

We have a creative studio where we design and paint graphics, and Filestage has been a game-changer for getting projects from concept to the real world quickly, with very happy clients (and us). We usually start off with a draft document, send a link to the client, have the client comment directly on the draft with questions/feedback, and then we can respond and/or add a new draft, then repeat the whole process until everyone's happy. We like how easy it is to get a client to respond on Filestage, and that our clients aren't forced through a weird UI or made to sign up for the app themselves. We love not having to send giant PDFs through email or dropbox, and forcing document download after document download until you can't remember which version is the most recent or how many times you have the same document draft saved in your "downloads" folder. That said, you can still enable each Filestage doc to be downloadable, so if our clients do want to download files, we like that it's an option for them.

Clunky to use on mobile, an app would be great eventually, for even more on-the-go quick response ability. Price is a bit steep too, but you get a lot, so understandable.
