Great interface, easy to use, instant synchronization.

I use it as todo/note organizer, grouping them by subject and specific to my usage I would have liked to have metadata that can be attached to items (date, priority, ...) and then having the possibility of sorting items on the same level by that metadata.

Intuitive mind mapping tool that for the most part is free to use. Obviously if you need / want all the 'hokey kokey' features you have to upgrade, but i have found that, at the moment, the free version is suffice for my needs.

All the printing downloading can't really be done with out upgrading

Exporting options are only available through paid accouts, have that in mind in case you are considering testing it out first.

The free plan offers very limited functionalities and features.

I like that the software can save and export maps to Google Drive. I also like that it's flexible in content.

I dislike the limited number of maps available in the free account.

Often when we are working on some projects, business ideas or anything that requires planning, we always look out for some tool to organize and arrange our raw ideas. There are many tools available but the mindmaps by MindMeister seems to be the perfect fit. The concept of mindmaps with connections make the task easy and effective. It saves me a lot of time.

A few of my colleagues use mind node on mac and they say that the UI is better with a little more features. So, I expect MindMeister to include a little more features like connection customization and a little improvement in UI just like in MilaNote.

I just love MindMeister. It's incredible all the kinds of mind maps you can create in just one website without spending a lot of time creating the template. I love that you can download the final document in different formats, such as PDF, JPGE, PNG, etc. First time I used MindMeister I was in awe since it was really simple to access and keep the information saved in one place. My students now use MindMeister and we love working on it.

Nothing, it is really simple and easy to use, plus we don't need to spend any money.

The facility in building mind maps that are beautiful and organized the way you want would be enough for me. But the tool for researching words on the maps are FANTASTIC. I can research a word through all maps or in an especific one. This really allows me to be faster at my work.

Although the price is affordable, I think the difference between annual and mothly plans should be more representative. I'd like to have an annual plan but, living in Brazil where dollar goes up and down, I can't know when it will really worth it.

Creating mind maps is very straightforward. There are plenty of models to start from and the real time collaboration features allow you to brainstorm with your team very easily. There are also many color and icon options to decorate your maps.

Exporting to pdf sometimes cut part of the mind maps, so be sure to optimize all spaces before exporting.

MindMeister is a fantastic MindMapping tool. Very useful for brainstorming new ideas.

The free tool does not come with the ability to upload images.

It helped me organize everything, my work, my class, my presentation, events, and it is very practical, easy to use (user friendly)

I would like to download word format in personal version once or twice so that I can be sure to upgrade or not.

For the time of using the application (about a year), there have not been any shortcomings yet. Everything works perfectly.

This software takes seconds to learn to use and allows you to lay out as in-depth an idea as you can create. It has a range of formatting choices and identifier icons to make the separation of branches far clearer.

Unfortunately, you seem to only be able to have one mind-map per file, or if you CAN have two, I could not see how. Having the ability to have two contrasting ideas side by side would be very helpful.

I love the ease of use, seamless interface. It supports extremely large mindmaps which are the kinds I eventually end up making. My productivity and project tracking both have improved using MindMeister.

Actually it has sufficed my purpose so far. I am using free version, so can't complain

As an educator and a part of a big team, I have to understand what is happening around even when I am not directly involved in a project.
It is also super visual when one has to understand the steps of a project and the amount of work to be done.

The only thing I do not like is the way connections between separate ideas are drawn: those green lines look hideous and are pretty inconvenient to use.

this help me stay organized and eliminates panic, since I can see on ONE PAGE all of the key tasks for my team, NEATLY ORGANIZED by Topic, Resource or subject area

Having to reformat all child tasks under each group. Would like to have a default task template set up or child tasks should inherit template same as the parent
