the concept of a visualization tool / way for designers and non-designers to collaborate is a good one.

usability issues are frequent. hard to view the entire board at once as the zoom function isn't good.

It makes working with clients for reviews seamless and saves SO much time. Efficiency is a huge reason why we went with zipBoard.

Nothing of note. We have had a very wonderful experience so far.

Here's the thing, I'm a visual thinker and so are my clients. In meetings you will find us drawing things out and explaining ideas with pictures. When it comes to websites, explaining changes and revisions becomes harder because you can't just start drawing on your screen. That's where zipBoard makes our lives so much easier. We can easily make comments and describe changes right where we need them rather than going in circles on email.

It also helps us out with website audits for potential clients to show proposed changes in design. We can easily make relevant notes that are not only helpful for us but easy for our client's to understand. It doesn't take long to familiarize yourself with the software and the Chrome extension just amplifies that.

There really aren't many negatives that I can say about zipBoard. Overall, I've had a great experience using it.

Ability to zoom in on large photos and annotate. Other prototyping tools are buggy or restrictive in this sense, which really limits commentary on things like large wireframes.

The performance could be better. I upload relatively small image files (<10mb) and panning while zoomed is laggy. Not the end of the world.

1. Type of the fix - customizable or type name change option . In our case we have a list of fixes "types" like OST, Animation, VO, grammar, etc

The pricing structure was perfect for what I needed it to do

I did not like the collaboration for when someone had read the task, and needed to tell the task owner they had seen it.

It was a great way for us to collaborate on creating and designing our website. Lots of features and functions.

A little harder to pick up, especially for less technically inclined staff.

It was quite easy to set up and figure out, and let me do all of the things I wanted to do to communicate with my team.

The only thing that would be better (but I suspect is quite difficult), would be to annotate a living copy of the website, instead of individual image captures. You lose a bit of the navigational feel while doing the annotation and commenting on it, but that's not a particularly big issue, just a "nice-to-have".

The ease of working together with the team was amazing.

It has a learning curve at first, not super inuitive.

Easy to use. Like that fixes and changes are reported in context, you don't have to find the slide that has the error. Good for remote review. I like the link for a reviewer has a how-to video before they use the software. Yet some still don't follow it!

I've had some SME reviewers mix up slide titles with comments on the content. In other words, they did add a comment on screen, they clicked the title and made the comment there. So it can be confusing for some.

Ability to quickly collaborate on projects with disparate team

When inviting users, you must manually enter email addresses. (No smart complete/autofill by connecting your email or uploading list of company emails or something to that effect)

Bug Tracking I like the most in the software because of add watchers.

Track Progress needs some more insights

Love that you can take screenshots of the page and show exactly what needs to be changed. I also like that you can assign tasks to specific individuals and set the priority of them so that everyone can manage their time and efforts better.

The only hiccup we had was having developers use the site - it would have been better if double clicking a task on the kanban board would bring them to the screenshot directly and show the rest of the tasks that are also on that page

With alot of my clients, they send screenshots of the page, with notes in an email. Zipboard makes it easy for the client to show me exactly what they are referring to.

It feels a little heavy, responsiveness when clicking around wasn't exactly what I would want.

The tool did exactly what I wanted: Help me communicate with the UI developer what issues I'm able to see. I definitely see zipboard as being a tool that I use frequently, especially while working with remote teams.

A few improvements on the usability of the platform would go a long way.

as a remote worker creating websites, this was a really effective and easy way to share screens with my team.

there's a definitely learning curve for figuring some of the stuff out. Might be too complex?

I really liked that I could try zipboard without inputting my billing information. I had to add some annotations to add to a live website, and it was fairly quick to learn. I couldn't find another company to accomplish this, and it served me well

The design isn't as sleek or intuitive as something like Invision
