Simple Elegant Solution

Overall WeTravel has been a dream. The product makes it easy to get up and running with a trip in 10 minutes, complete with beautiful images, great mobile experience, easy checkout, and lots of ways to integrate on your own website. We moved off a Wordpress/WooCommerce implementation that was buggy and frustrating to WeTravel and it's made life SOOOoooo much easier.

Our onboarding was a bit slow because of their Trust & Verification process, which is more than any other service provider asked for.

Support has been responsive and even implemented some features that we've requested.

Highly recommended.

The best solution we've found.

We needed a booking software that makes it easy for our customers to sign up for our multiday trips and to input information we need to collect. We Travel isn't perfect, but they have been open to feedback and are continuously coming out with improvements.

Vorteile

We Travel makes it easy for our customers to book instantly. Transfers to bank accounts and payments are quick. The support I receve from We Travel is exceptional and they are always available to help when I can'y figure something out.

Nachteile

Our customers have to be educated on how to log i n and how to use We Travel. It is dificult and time consuming to make changes to a reservation.

WeTravel is a phenomenal booking platform.

[sensitive content hidden] is our WeTravel sales contact and he has been amazing throughout this entire process of getting our agency onboarded. We could not have asked for a better experience. He is timely when answering questions and giving feedback. He also keeps us in the loop on things, which is vital to our administrative team.

The ease of use for both travel agency and clients.

Nachteile

Features that would help WeTravel would be to have the ability to connect reservations of participants who are rooming together but booking separately. Graphics embedded into the pricing page.

Fantastic platform

We are so happy to have made the switch this year to the platform. I love the reminders for payments to participants that are seamless and the ease of communicating with each group at one time.

Vorteile

The ease of use and integration of our client management is more streamlined. I also love that the developers are constantly making fantastic changes to the features and listen to my advice and questions about what will help us do our jobs better. We appreciate [SENSITIVE CONTENT] customer service and check-in's. Having a designated customer service representative really puts the mind at ease.

Nachteile

There have been glitches with the growing pains along the way but as I mentioned, the developers are constantly working on making the platform work even better.

Software has made a great impact on our business

Use of WeTravel has really improved our reservation management and our payment processing functions. We're very pleased.

Vorteile

We have found that WeTravel has given us a great reservation engine for our tours and has greatly streamlined the reservation and payment processes for our company.

Nachteile

I'd love to see WeTravel built out to be a full CRM, but it is not there yet. But the company is moving in that direction, it seems.

An Occasional Travel Experience

Vorteile

My wife and I gathered a group of friends, and some brought their friends, for a trip to Europe in July 2020. Of course, the trip had to be cancelled due to the corona virus. This was a personal effort, not conncected with a business or industry.

We set up our trip with our travel agency, and then we used WeTravel to recruit our travel companions and manage the financial components. The program was easy to learn, and technical assistance was always one "chat" away. We liked the facility to add photos to each day of our itinerary, to offer several payment plans, to add disclaimers where needed. When we were prepared to do so, we sent the web page to our friends, often adding a personal message of encouragement to the pitch.

As each party came on board, they were able to register and submit deposits. WeTravel sent our welcome letter to the new travelers and began the periodic reminders to those who chose the multiple payment plans. All worked smoothly, and we received no complaints from any of our travel partners.

We enjoyed worry-free security of the travel funds held by WeTravel, and each transfer of collected funds to the travel agency was handled in a professional and timely manner. The accounting of total funds and of each individual's payments was readily available throughout the process.

Nachteile

We shared this suggestion with the administrators of the WeTravel site.

We would like to have a print-friendly option within the program, so that we could print a travel itinerary to hand out or send through the mail to friends.

Much beyond that oprtion -- and we would be willing to pay extra for this -- how about a trip publisher component so that we could download information and create a day by day travel description booklet for each traveler?

Like least about this software? Nothing that comes to mind.

A useful platform to accept bookings

It is the main platform we use for new bookings for our experiences (retreats).

The main reason we use it is because we like the option to list different experiences with different packages and instalments at each one. However, we find very time consuming to handle new bookings after they've been made, as we have to copy paste manually all the fields on our excels to have this dynamic overview of bookings that is missing.

Vorteile

- Option to add several instalments to a product package
- Automatic reminders to customers for due payments
- Quick customer support ([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been very quick and knowledgeable)
- Easy to refund and cancel a booking without extra fees

Nachteile

- No dynamic dashboard to view bookings, payments, instalmets due (You can only download the excel of the bookings but once a new booking is made, you need to re-download it and any notes you kept at the excel are gone.)
- No feature to view an overview of bookings. You can add notes to each guest, but there there is no overview to see them. You have to click on every partIcipant to view notes (which is not practical/ useful)
- Receipt Number appears ONLY on the confirmation email we receive when someone pays. On the payment dashboard there is no place where the receipt number of each transaction can be found

Optimistic and still hopeful

The ability for us to make individual payment options available to our groups is wonderful. The ability to modify and upsell our customers and adjust within WeTravel is NOT good, which limits our ability to drive more business our and your way. Our number one complaint from our customers at this point is the frustration with our payment system. They are told they are paid in full, then add something and cant make payments any longer. They to issue a refund is a nightmare. We have donors who send payments, so occasionally we will get an over payment, which then messes up all accounting features. Your system is seriously lacking in this area.

Vorteile

The ability for our office and the customers to access and use the information is great.

Nachteile

The limitations and ability to meet the needs or customers are lacking substantially within our market, and they could easily be modified to create a solid customer experience, however they are not there yet and your limitations of accessing people to respond in a timely manner are not good. When you're dealing with peoples money, you need to have quick response times. Online support and an excuse of 'We don't have telephones to talk to you' is a terrible response. Planning ahead when we are working together is fine, but when there are problems, waiting isn't good for customer relations.

My experience with WeTravel

Every contact I have had with WeTravel has been a positive experience. My initial contact / account manager was [SENSITIVE CONTENT] . She was a pleasure to work with for about 2 years. I have recently been handed over to a new Account Manager ([SENSITIVE CONTENT] ). He has been just as pleasant to work with. WeTravel is still growing and still making positive updates to what they have to offer. I get busy and often miss what updates they have made to their platform. I have found their Quarterly Updates to be VERY BENEFICIAL in helping me make sure I take full advantage of the product I am paying for.

Vorteile

TRANSACTION FEES are lower than other options I have at my disposal.

Nachteile

Mainly a CON on me. I do not adjust to change very well and am having a difficult time personally letting go of my OLD MS WORD FORMS that help me keep track of my tours ... passengers, expenses, and profits.

LOVE

LOVE everything about WeTravel. It's the best thing to happen to our very small business. Everyone is super nice and get back to me right away if I have any questions.

Vorteile

WeTravel saves me countless hours of manually figuring out booking info for each of our retreat guests. I used to make various spreadsheets and had to keep up with who was paying what and when and this software even sets automatic payment reminders (it's also nice that it's automatic and not coming from us as it can be uncomfortable asking for payments. We don't have an admin and we don't want anyone to feel awkward.)

Nachteile

The only thing I would love is an email or a breakout of our payouts since they are lumped together and it would be nice to see fee breakout and which guest paid what. Maybe there is a report? An email with confirmation or even a checkbox to select which payments from which guests you want transferred. Sometimes we take payments for different retreats at the same time so it would be nice.

I chose this site because I am at the beginning stages of my travel business, and I wanted to specialize in Group Travel, this site helps me to bring certain travel groups together, and helps with marketing and advertising future travels, It is my Plan to use this site to help grow my business, and I appreciate that there is such a tool to help me do so.

What I loved the most about this software was how easy it was to enter your information for your upcoming travel needs. I Love the fact that your are able to create a beautiful Travel page that is catered to the prospective clients that your looking for. I also like the ease of that the software creates in order for clients to be able to book and pay for future trips, just from a click of a button; and how your are able to share this site on social media, its just AWESOME! I have to say the Staff is Fantastic!. If you have any questions or problems they are more than ready to help you with any issues that you are having. You can't go wrong with this site, i totally recommend using it!

Nachteile

The only thing, that I didn't see is that the site doesn't have a contact phone number, where if needed, you could directly talk to staff on the phone.

Great Service!

It's made it easier for me to advertise my culinary retreats, and it even got me three clients whom I wouldn't have had otherwise because they found me with a Google search. I think that using WeTravel helped my website pop up higher in search results...not sure, but I think it was a factor. I've enjoyed using it and will continue to use their service because it's affordable and is a beautiful, simple solution for my business needs.

I love how easy it is to fill out and that it looks beautiful and professional right away! It's a beautiful template. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was great to work with and cheerful from our first online meeting. She explained everything to me and has been very helpful. I look forward to continuing to use WeTravel for my future culinary retreats in France.

Nachteile

On the homepage of my retreat listing some people told me they didn't see they were supposed to click on the separate days that would then open up and show them the details of each day. It's kind of hidden and hard to see. I'd love to see that changed. Overall I've loved the service.The only super challenging part has been that in September I started having serious issues logging in with the 2 factor authentication. I've spent many hours trying to log in and over emails with your associates trying to figure out the problem. They're helpful folks, but I'm still having the same issues with Google Authenticator and can't get into my account. I've tried countless times. Would love to get that resolved.

Easy to use, let’s me worry about the other things.

Wonderful! I had a zoom call with my a account manager, Antonietta Robino, and she was so helpful and friendly. The customer service is great!

Vorteile

It was easy to create my trip and I was able to edit it often. The customer service team was prompt and helpful. I love that emails are sent automatically to all the attendees and the feature to have payments collected automatically lets me focus on things other than payment collection.

Nachteile

I didn’t figure out the payment plan feature until a couple of people had signed up. It would be great if it was possible to add a payment plan to someone after the initial registration. (For those of us who missed this feature)

The implementation from the beginning was fantastic. I like the booking option the most.

It is really hard to come up with a negative. Not been able to remove reviews that are completely inaccurate is a challenge.

Great Product with Great Support

We are very happy with WeTravel and its staff.

Vorteile

WeTravel is extremely easy to use and pretty much idiot-proof. It looks great & impressive to clients, works well, and is very easy to use for employees. Any time I have a tech support or any type of question - at any hour of day or night - my emails are answered usually in minutes.

Nachteile

Sometimes the system seems to have a problem calculating payment plans and produces 'errors' when there isn't one.

Vorteile

WeTravel allows us to manage our retreat offerings all in one place with the features and functionality that we need to efficiently and effectively work with our participants. We are able to beautifully feature our retreats on the platform, implement complete registration processes, accept various forms of payments, and send messages to participants from within the software. It's easy to use and customer service has been great. With all of this, WeTravel is a five star product and we highly recommend it!

We haven't yet integrated WeTravel with other software that we use.
