Schwerer Einstieg, viele Funktionen zu kompliziert umgesetzt

Ich habe viele Möglichkeiten Videos zu bearbeiten und kann sehr intuitiv anpassen. Klar, man muss sich erst einarbeiten, aber dann gehen kleine Projekte flott, aber auch größere. DaVinci Resolve ist sehr schnell zu lernen und bietet sich gerade für Einsteiger in der Video- & Filmbrache an. Aber auch Profis werden mit umfangreichen Möglichkeiten Software sehr glücklich werden.

Zum Teil sind Hilfestellungen (Tutorials) bei der Animationserstellung oder beim Colorgrading nötig, um manche Funktionen zu verstehen.

I have found nothing that I like about DaVinci Resolve. I can't figure out how to use it. It is very difficult to even attempt to do things with this program that I can easily achieve on Clipify. DaVinci sucks. May be great for pro's, but a layman...no chance.

EVERYTHING! Each thing I attempted to do ending in catastrophic failure. I lost videos. I mangled videos. Why is this so much more difficult that Clipify? I can upload, add too, edit, clip, finish and post a video in a couple of hours.

The fact that it is free but functions like most professional software is great. Lots of Youtube videos out there to allow for easy learning.

Not too much. On the odd occasion you may encounter certain bugs that come up, but nothing that a good reset of the software would fix. Plus software updates usually fix it.

The free version of this software is almost 100% of the what the paid version offers. No watermarks or sly ways of getting you to pay. Simply great.

It is a great software for free and it matches the best. Adobe Premiere Pro. It has many great quality features that you would want in a video editing software.I really like all of the functions of this software.

The only major issue is that it can be quite hard to read and understand. I also think that it is missing some small but major features like a skip 5 seconds. It can also be hard to find certain things.

DaVinci is super in depth and can do anything the bigger programs can do. On the free version you lack a few features, but even on that version, in comparison to other things like Imovie or somethingm its night or day. A bit of a learning curve, given that there is so much to it, but worth the time it takes to learn it!

the steep learning curve. I dont think this is for mom and dad looking to get the movies off their phone, or anyone who doesnt have a little time to learn it.

Color Grading is easily the best thing about DaVinci for me and it simply offers more than After Effects in terms of features and video editing domain.

There's a learning curve in it if you just shifted from editor with less and Simple UI, new users might simply get overwhelmed by all those UI.

Pay once model, no monthly overhead and free updates after that.
Far superior editing model compared to Adobe's clunk dynamic link.

Understanding some of the concepts of node based editing can be tricky at times, however once you understand that you're flying.
It can be a bit resource intensive.

It is quite heavy, and can consume your system resource.
Takes a bit of getting used to as a result of the many functions and tools. So you will need to take a couple of hours to learn how to use the software.

The backup process, once set, is great but very difficult to work out when and where the backup fits in your past workflow.

This is great freeware. I've used Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premiere and this freeware is great when you're on a budget.

It has features anyone can use in the media and film industry and even many popular films such as King Kong (2005) was edited with this program. It is great for professional video editors.

Definitely more time consuming to learn, many companies even have several people working different part of it, use as color graders, video editors, sound editors. This is a complex program to use just by one person.
