I like that it organizes courses in a very neat way, the website is easy to navigate and looks great visually. The calendar is very helpful.

It's not very easy to use for teachers. They often have a hard time understanding all of the features Blackboard provides.

Easy to create tests and assessments and grading them. Things were laid out and easy to find.

Looks old and outdated. Needs to be cleaner and conscise.

The flexibility to update information and make changes to coursework is good. If a student publishes an assignment, such as a paper, incorrectly I am able to reset the assignment on an individual basis without opening it up to the entire class.

With the more frequent use of mobile devices, Blackboard needs to be more mobile-friendly. Some screens, such as the grade book, offer limited functionality when accessed on a mobile device such as an iPad.

Platform organization, accessibility (accessible on mobile devices), and also ensures a safe and protected learning environment.

The cost of the platform compared to other learning platforms. Also, complexity when first exposed to it

Its adaptability and flexibility for the content writer. Information is so easy to add, edit, or remove at a moment's notice, and the changes are reflected immediately.

There could be more assessment tools added, but the ones already there are more than adequate.

Blackboard brings everything you need into one easy to access and navigate place.

I have been using Blackboard Learn to support my undergraduate and graduate university courses. I mainly use it to flexibly:1. Post course lecture notes and recorded videos.2. Post assignments and manage their submission policies and due dates3. Conduct exams and quizzes4. Post grades to students and link it to Banner to be on the University database system5. Use many tools such as Blackboard Collaborate to conduct video conferencing sessions and office hours with students

Creating exams and assessments can be streamlined in a better way to create questions of different types more flexibly and rapidly. I recommend having a tool to do MCQ grading (such as Gradescope) integrated in the Blackboard LMS. Moreover, integrating video editing tools into the LMS itself would be a great addition as well.

Blackboard Learn is one of the easiest platforms for college students to navigate. I like that I can talk to my professors in real - time.

There was nothing I didn't like about it.

Blackboard is often being replaced with D2L/Brightspace, including at my college. However, it comes with a number of advantages. It's relatively easy to use and includes Blackboard UltraCollaborate, which was essential during the pandemic as a remote learning tool

It tends to delete older classes without informing the professor, making it harder to use or reuse older material

BlackBoard Learn is a reliable tool for basic communication, content collection, and assessments. There are convenience factors baked into its framework in the sense that instructors can readily copy and reuse materials from earlier semesters, but other capabilities have far surpassed the benefits of this complacency factor. Also, the price point of BlackBoard Learn is extremely compelling, and they have reliable customer support and service.

Doing anything on BlackBoard Learn requires significantly more clicks and testing than competing products. The design is clunky, and it directly contradicts the instructional delivery of faculty who know what else is out there, as well as the learning-design preferences of Gen-Z students.

The softwares capacity to synchronize contacts and users information.

Near to perfect but it has little hitch when it comes to support.

It is easy to navigate blackboard, view assignments, grades, etc. At my college, my professors post everything on this site, including grades, the syllabus, assignments, and contact information. The only time it's hard to navigate is when a professor doesn't organize the class well, and that is not on Blackboards end.

The emailing feature within blackboard can be a bit finicky at times, so I tend to find the professors email and send an email directly to them.

What I like most about this app is the ability to discuss topics in the app's discussion forums. It also offers a gradebook function that simplifies the grading process and allows students to track their progress throughout the course.

The platform can sometimes be slow and prone to technical glitches.

All of my online college courses were in Blackboard.

If you use the back button during a quiz sometimes it would end your quiz

I used CivicTrack all thru my education. It was simple to use and kept all of my course work and information in one place. Loved it!

Some professors wouldn't use it properly/avidly (i.e. change of due date on an assignment). It would glitch rarely.

Blackboard is reliable and easy to use LMS, requiring little to no direction or training for new users. Communication and notifications are great, found all in one place for easy access and viewing. Gradebook is another fantastic feature. All the information about your assessments can be found in one place, including submission dates, marking criteria and overall grades. Submission process is great, allowing users to thoroughly review their documents and their similarity report before submission.

UI could be updated to be more user-friendly, e.g., minimise clicks, add more shortcuts for site navigation. Features to allow for collaboration in group projects/tasks would be useful as many users prefer external software for collaboration, communication between students and instructors and productivity. However, it is perfectly adequate for users familiar with the LMS.

If you know how to use it, you can do so much, for programmers there is ton of choice, and for what I know that is a good thing because it can be personalized for the company or schol that wants to use it. Mobilie use is also pretty great.

Many bugs, this essentially is not Blackboard fault but is their platform, they should add more support tools for programmers. Also I don't like so many optiones to mange a course, is confusing for teachers and learners.
