Multiple forums available on one application.

I have used Discord for about 5 years. A problem I have faced is scammers direct messaging me. Discord doesn't seem to be able to do anything about that. Last week I received an invitation to join a Discord forum by a vendor from whom I have purchased several hundred $-worth of product. I tried several times to join that forum on 2 different PCs. Because their service was lousy, they added insult to injury by suspending my account. I appealed 4 days ago -- crickets.

Discord offers seamless communication with both text and voice channels, making it perfect for gaming and casual chats. The community features, like servers and customizations, make it feel personal and interactive. Amazing for team communication.

I find that Discord can be overwhelming with notifications, especially when managing multiple servers or also when I am in meeting.

How customizable servers can be and that it can easily be used in a computer or in a phone at any time and anywhere. Servers are basically a solution for really complicated and structured organisms such as a Law Firm. We deal with different areas, lots of people, different services. Before using discord it was an actual nightmare having to create groups for something different while on discord everything is not only at a single place but is well organized and structured. You can basically have the entire building in a single server and everyone will see what they need to see. No more, no less. It's a brilliant solution and it receives continues updates for both, mobile and desktop.

What we have more issues with is probably connection and tags. The fact now tags have changed and there are no #0000 anymore makes it hard to have naming convections for work only profiles and when reaching outside of the server for Messaging or groups. Wishing the Law Firm server it hasn't been big problem due to the fact that names can be modified. Regarding connection we have noticed that calls or screen sharing needs a strong internet connection. On the office that's not much of an issue but in a fast environment and when calls have been the most urgent with people at the middle of the street, it hasn't been reliable.

The most impactful thing about Discord that we started using after setting up our personal work channel, was without a doubt the Discord API, the entire workflow of our team is developed entirely using Discord + another ERP, making it a really powerful tool and we benefit from it daily.

I think the communication between roles and permissions could be better pointed out, we didn't know at first when implementing the software and whenever we discovered it, it was another world in front of our eyes.

This is free and really easy to use and simple. This system is fully made for the gamers in beginning. And now its really Improve with lot, If you want you can share screen with anyone while you doing your playing or works and as i know this is the first app that it starts as first. and in here we can do low of things like group talking and watching films also as a group, more than other everything i recommend this for most group activity . We can make make community and in that we can divide lot of subcategory this is mostly i like in there. other thing is Customization and Control this is really good feature, we give permission and roles and we can have fully control.

Mainly i have a issue with the notification sounds, when we are in group chat with lot in active server overcome volume of notification. when we consider about the this need lot of performance and it affect to some old less powerful devices mostly it happen to me also once. and i think in here we need more privacy concerns because in here its not secure at all with harassment and i think this system need more security features . This required more good and stable internet connection it will be a issue with someone who stay a place with low connectivity .

I appreciate the unique concept behind Discord as a social media platform. I'm not referring to the user interface, but rather the overall vision of the platform.

Recently, I've been disappointed with the emphasis on paid plans, as Discord seems to promote them a bit too aggressively. The regular Nitro subscription feels too expensive for what it offers, and Nitro Basic, which I would consider paying for, lacks essential features like access to up to 200 servers.

I like Discord as a social platform where I can keep up and reach out to friends and family. It is a social network that provides the tools, channels, and user-friendly elements that let you stay tuned and constantly communicate with people worldwide. I like that you can either use it as a casual user or a super deep knowledge user and in both ways, it will always give you some value in return.

I don't like that whenever I want to share a high-resolution photo, it won't do a preview but creates a link instead. Also, some elements like gifts and emojis won't work the same on PC and Mobile, but I guess it has to do more with the technology used than the platform itself.

I appreciate Discord for its seamless real-time communication, versatile voice and video features, intuitive interface, and the ability to create and customize communities, fostering engaging and collaborative online spaces.
