Some of the important features aren't as intuitive to get to. Have someone in your company go into the interface and give them a list of things to find and get fed back through that. When you build an application, it's easy to lose sight of new user experience.

Telephone service is great. The cost quite reasonable and the technical support fast and fabulous. I also use the e fax system which is excellent in every way, easy to use and quite comprehensive. Unlike other systems which have you email to a system - and deliver it to one fax number, Nextiva has a fax portal where you can send a fax to multiple fax numbers as well as sending the faxed documents to an email address. Cost, service and support are superior to all other systems I have tried.

Nextiva is a lot better in CS than our previous phone company. It is clear what we are paying for and the services we get. There is no confusion during the initial process, even though I am not a technical guy. I'm just a small business manager but I was able to set up the entire phone menu system myself. Great product.

Customer service is great. Ease of Use is there. Clarity in how to get to your goals for the phone system.
Nachteile
There is not much I don't like. Nothing so huge that it would need to be mentioned.

Excellent customer service, as each agent is knowledgeable and able to answer a gamut of questions. System takes practice to master, but agents are always willing to help, and thwy are easy to reach.
Nachteile
Learning curve is more challenging than expected. Phone queues and buttons are not very intuitive but we will practice.

Excellent. I would recommend Nextiva to all. From using their app or online services to be able to handle call flow and voicemails, to the ease of transferring calls to various extensions, Nextiva has been great. When reaching out to their customer service team I am able to reach a helpful live person immediately. Our phone system has worked perfectly.
Vorteile
Our company transitioned from a large commercial provider to Nextiva in September 2023 and we couldn't be happier. We ported 24 lines and 15 licenses and the implementation process was much easier than anticipated. Nextiva guided me every step of the way and answered all of my questions. My bill is half what I was paying the other provider and Nextiva's customer service is exceptional.
Nachteile
Only one small complaint and its a function issue. Our company has the main line's calls forwarded to a specific emergency cell after hours. The cell number changes based on what doctor is on-call. We have to manually change that cell number every night. If this could be done automatically that would be perfect. It's a very minor issue.

Vorteile
Nextiva addresses all of the needs for our business and more. My favorite feature is the user control of the auto attendant. Once you understand how it works, you can set it up to operate in whatever way is needed. The application is also accessible via desktop app, mobile app, or desk phone, and I appreciate the versatility. Overall I believe this is a solid choice to go with. There are a few standard features, and then ones you can add based on your specific needs. User licenses for different products are also available.
Nachteile
The service can be spotty depending on which application you are using. If you have all three, however, the advantage is that you can switch between them if one is having problems.

To put it simply: Nextiva services allow our team to keep in touch with one another with minimal disruption. This is vital to the success of any growing operation and has, undoubtedly, lent greatly to our growth as an organization. Despite the concerns I've expressed, I find Nextiva to be a greatly reliable and extremely professional connected communications company, and I'm very thankful I've been able to rely on their services and support team so heavily in my years working with them.
Vorteile
Out of all of the third-parties our company works with, Nextiva's Support Team is by far the most reponsive, patient, and understanding group I've had the pleasure of working with. Their Support Team is well-versed, knowledgable, and flexible, and it seems my issues always get resolved the very first time I reach out to them for support.
Nachteile
While their Nextiva / NextOS Voice portal is certainly not the worst administrative interface I've worked in, I do find that it's a bit confusing attempting to locate where a phone number or extension is hiding: having to jump around between the 'auto attendant', 'call groups', 'call center locations', and 'users' and manually search through each section is a more time consuming process than I feel it needs to be.

Easy to use and customer service is always very helpful and resolves the issues that same day. The ability to filter whose phone rings for incoming calls or not is great! Not everyone needs to have their phone ringing all day long.
Nachteile
Sometimes have to wait awhile on the chat for a representative but when you get connected they always resolve the issues fairly quickly.

Over all - Nextiva is a great solution for small and medium sized businesses. It may be great for large businesses, but I don't have that experience to comment. The desktop clients make taking the "phone" anywhere, very easy. And the ability to route calls to any employee, at any location proves why Nextiva is so valuable to our company. We switched from RC years ago, and never looked back.
Vorteile
Nextiva for the most part works great and it's easy to use. When there is an update pending, it can get buggy sometimes. Customer service is friendly, although not as easy to connect with as when we started in 2014. Sometimes hold times are too long, and troubleshooting isn't easy through the automated assistance (like for any company that has that).
Nachteile
I have been told when people call they get a message that states the line is out of service, or cannot connect. Regardless of any tech support, the issue has not been resolved. In Nextiva's defense, it is not a repeatable problem - so fixing something that isn't easy. I kind of believe the issue started during the propagation of adding our phone lines.
