Google Docs Erfahrungen

Einer der Hauptvorteile ist es, dass man beim Verwenden von Google Docs schnell und unkompliziert seine Dokumente mit anderen teilen kann. Selbst ein gleichzeitiges Arbeiten daran ist kein Problem und das erleichtert, gerade in einem Team, so einiges. Die Tatsache, dass Google Docs kostenlos ist, macht es natürlich noch besser. Man hat außerdem schnell Zugriff auf alle Dokumente von jedem Rechner aus. Das Google Login reicht und Dokumente verlieren, vergessen zu sichern usw. gehört der Vergangenheit an.

Aus meiner Sicht gibt es keine Nachteile. Man nutzt hier ein kostenloses Online Tool, das einem das Leben stark erleichtert, für Datensicherheit sorgt und teilen mit Kollegen oder Freunden extrem einfach macht. Mir fällt auf Anhieb nichts ein, was ich vermisse oder was man verbessern könnte.

Das Produkt als solches ist grundsätzlich selbsterklärend und wenn bereits in der Vergangenheit mit einem Textverarbeitungsprogramm gearbeitet wurde, ist die Nutzung selbsterklärend. Was ich als besonders vorteilhaft empfinde, ist das einfache und schnelle Teilen von Dokumenten, gerade bei der Zusammenarbeit in Teams ist dies äußerst wirksam und erleichternd.

Die Gesamtoptik wirkt etwas "altbacken" ein frischeres und eingängigeres Design wäre wünschenswert. Was etwas schade ist, ist die Tatsache, dass alle Formatierungs- und Dokumentenfunktionen ausschließlich über Drop-down Menüs erreichbar sind. Hier wäre es toll, wenn man mehr mit Symbolen - welche auch eine gewisse Größe haben, damit diese leichter zu erkennen sind - arbeiten würde.

Google Docs makes it SO easy to collaborate with others on documents, give, request, and incorporate comments, and share files that can be updated in realtime. For collaboration and sharing, Google Docs is the only platform I use.

As a word processor, it doesn't have all the great features that Word has. It's not ideal for creating a new document if you need a lot of formatting options (ESPECIALLY tables, which are a nightmare in Docs). Luckily, you can always just upload a document you've created in Word to Docs and it does a pretty good job keeping formatting.

It’s a very easy software to use, with abundant features that are designed to make your document admin life a lot easier. And it works.

Nothing to not like. All around a decent software and very helpful.

Intuitive layout, integration with other Google services/offerings and hosting in the cloud make Google Docs arguably the best way for small teams with far-flung members to quickly generate collaborative documents. Four years ago, using Google Docs to author, edit and review documents was a nonstarter due to missing features found in word processing software. Today, many such features have been implemented, such that quick and easy collaboration using Google Docs warrants overlooking remaining "holes" with respect to features.

Working with long documents containing complex section-dependent formatting is still a huge issue. More flexibility in the definition and application of styles is in order. As is more granular control over numbered lists to allow section-based dynamic numbering of figures and tables, for example.

Google Docs is now a mature and fully functional product. I prefer it to MS Word, for its ease of use and integration with Google suite.

Google Docs assumes all your documents will "live" mainly in the Cloud. Even if there is some option to use it offline, this is not the main feature. Also, bear in mind that all your data will stay on Google servers - with all the consequences about privacy that you can imagine.

At first I didn't think I would like Google Docs only because I was unfamiliar with it. As I started using it more and more I realized what a great tool it was. There are so many easy features to it and its ease of use was a total winner for me. I find it easy to share with my Partners. The best feature was the hyperlink to other sites, I was blown away by that feature. Using Google Docs is practically a no-brainer.

When I tried to add to the document I found it a little tricky trying to add or delete, it was a different learning curve, it wasn't as user friendly as the other features were.

The great interface and features that app provides but needs more intelligence and communication with user

Communication with users and feeling like it's your safe of files, it's dependable software but can be improved

Basically, Google DOCs is a Free tool, unlike Microsoft office can use it from anywhere, Beside it did not cost me any money.
Real-time collaboration and syncing are very perfect from my end, any teammate can also work at the same time with us.
Saving the changes is automatic, the chance of losing data is not here.
I can easily access my documents from any remote place with my mobile and laptop.
Software integration with other Google products is a productive option for us.

Comparing with MS Word, Google Docs has some missing features option, it very hard to create in Google docs, and all the icons in Docs is little small, For the first couple of time its not ideal for me. After using some time I get used to it.

Google Docs has served me in many manners that allows for in browser document editing that creates files for Google users to edit, download and share with eachother. It being stored in the cloud has a variety of benefits that make it's longevity consistent for as long as you have a Google Account. Multiple users can share and access said documents and edit them simultaneously, showing live updates across everyones accounts which makes collaboration much more seamless.

Not as feature rich as a program like Microsoft Word, however it has specific features that in some ways make it better than Word itself.

I honestly don’t even know what we did in business without Google Docs. I use it in my business every single day. I love being able to create documents and share them with my team or clients. Edit them in real-time and leave comments. I love how easy it is to use and that changes are saved automatically. I love that I can share it or keep it private – enable editing permission or not. It was so easily integrated into my business, like I say, I don’t know how I managed without it!

There is really nothing that I dislike about Google Docs. I have yet to find a reason to dislike it. Other companies have tried but they simply cannot compete.
