Über Paylocity
Paylocity ist eine Online-Lösung für Gehaltsabrechnung und Humankapitalmanagement für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen. Die Lösung bietet verschiedene Funktionen wie Gehaltsabrechnung, Personalwesen, Verwaltung, Zeit und Arbeit sowie Talentmanagement. Sie verfügt über Self-Service-Funktionen, mit denen Mitarbeiter auf ihre Informationen zugreifen können, z. B. auf Gehalt, Zuschüsse und Urlaubsdetails. Paylocity bietet verschiedene Tools, darunter QuickPay (zur Verarbeitung der Gehaltsabrechnung in Stößen), Gehaltsscheck-Rechner, Direkteinzahlungs- und Scheckerstellungsfunktionen für Dritte sowie die Einhaltung des Affordable Care Act. Andere Personalfunktionen umfassen Berichterstattung und Analysen sowie einen Onboarding-Service. Nutzer können auch Informationen aus über 100 Standardberichten extrahieren. In general, it is a pretty good payroll software but I have experienced better. The pricing structure seemed unclear and inconsistent. Hidden fees and unexpected charges cropped up periodically, which added to our overall cost without prior warning or explanation. This lack of transparency in pricing made it challenging to budget effectively and caused additional financial strain on our operations.
Vorteile
I would say the ease of use by employees and the how straightforward the training is.
Nachteile
The customer support was underwhelming. When we encountered issues or needed clarification, responses were slow and often didn't fully resolve our concerns. It felt like we were left to figure out complicated problems on our own, which is not ideal when dealing with sensitive payroll and employee data.

Overall, Paylocity is one of the better HRIS systems I've worked with. Payroll is simpler while still being secure and my employees also seem to engage well with the program.
Vorteile
Paylocity has allowed us to customize a lot about our company site/setup. I spend most of my time in the Onboarding side of things and being able to customize the onboarding tasks is really helpful.
When it comes to the Employee's side of Paylocity, it is relatively straightforward and user-friendly. The site is easy to navigate and when needed, the support team is very friendly and usually quick to respond.
Nachteile
There is definitely room for improvement within Paylocity. It seems like a lot of functions, features, and even naming conventions are a bit more complicated than they need to be. In the onboarding side, setting up onboarding event packets, tasks, or templates is a TOTAL PAIN. The process is cumbersome and you can't delete certain things once they're created. The builder for customizing onboarding tasks 100% needs some help and could be a lot more user friendly if Paylocity were to copy a builder-setup like SurveyMonkey.

Overall, Paylocity provides a good amount of payroll, time & attendance, and time off information, however, it is not always easy to navigate the website. There is a platform for all company announcements, but it forces employees to go into another program in order to view them. We have had issues setting up exports to work properly with Sage Intacct, consisting of needing two exports, one for labor cost and one for labor hours.
Vorteile
There is a decent amount of information in Paylocity if your organization utilizes it.
Nachteile
It can be difficult to navigate when you do not use the program often. Messages that are created from Paylocity and emailed to employees do not include the full message in the email, preventing employees from reading the entire message without having to open Paylocity.

The team that supports us is friendly, responsive and helpful.
Nachteile
WE still have hiccups in setting up approvals for PRO/timesheets that we cant seem to overcome. There a a few wrinkles in the system that make no sense to me!
