Über Databox
Databox ist ein cloud-basiertes Business-Analyse-Tool, mit dem Nutzer benutzerdefinierte Analyse-Dashboards erstellen können, die Daten aus mehreren Quellen enthalten und auf jedem Gerät angezeigt werden können. Das System wurde für Werbetreibende, Analysten und CEOs entwickelt und bietet Integrationen mit einem Klick, eine Reihe von Cloud-Diensten und Datenbanken für den Datenimport sowie eine API für benutzerdefinierte Integrationen.
Mit dem Databox Designer können Nutzer KPI-Dashboards mit einem Drag-and-Drop-Editor erstellen. Sie können Ansichten anpassen, indem sie die Datenvisualisierungen ändern und Metriken hinzufügen. Daten aus mehreren Quellen können ohne Code angezeigt werden und Nutzer können den Zugriff auf ihre Datawalls steuern, indem sie Berechtigungen und IP-Adressen einschränken. Mithilfe von Live-Vorschauen können Nutzer Daten in Echtzeit anzeigen. Mit dem Abfrage-Generator können benutzerdefinierte Metriken, Ereignisse, Statistiken und Ziele importiert werden. Nutzer können auch erweiterte Einstellungen für jede Metrik steuern, z. B. das Ändern von Zeitintervallen, Währungen und Diagrammformaten.
Die Databox-Apps für iOS und Android stellen täglich zu festgelegten Zeiten automatisch Scorecards für die mobilen Geräte der Nutzer bereit. Außerdem werden wöchentliche Zusammenfassungen mit von Nutzern ausgewählten Metriken angezeigt. Alarme werden auch automatisch generiert, wenn sich Trends abzeichnen oder plötzliche Änderungen auftreten. Daten können in der mobilen Anwendung mit Anmerkungen versehen und mit Teamkollegen geteilt werden. Passwörter oder Touch-ID können aktiviert werden, um die Sicherheit der Daten zu gewährleisten.

Vorteile
Ok, so I was desperately looking for an affordable platform to centralize my reporting for my clients. Most things that I found were either too expensive or too limited. I tested many free reporting tools - not enough connections. I tested the "free trial" of the big guys - great, feature-rich, and waay out of my budget. Then I came across Databox and I have to tell you, it has been a complete game changer for me. The Free version allows you to connect 10 clients to 3 data sources for reporting but then I discovered that I could easily afford the next level upgrade version, which allowed me to enhance my reports with up to 10 data sources for 10 clients. The setup was extremely simple and once I created the dashboards and scorecards, I was able to click a button and create an easy to understand report for my clients. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is struggling to keep up with the reporting for their marketing clients.
Nachteile
Honestly, nothing. Maybe that I have to pay for it to use it, but that's business.

i do love it. it's something i'm planning on bringing with me if i ever switch jobs. i like how easy it is. at first we were about to cancel databox cause no one knew how to work with it. once i learned the specific way you needed to set up the code then i was like THIS IS EASY and now have made way too many dashboards
Vorteile
the visualizations are great and is easy to customize. I always thought Tableau was too much. Databox gives you nice-looking dashboards without it being overall flashy or complicated
Nachteile
I wish the dashboards were bigger so i could fit more information. or i wish i could connect them and make it so i can scroll to see the different dashboards. but really i wish they could be organized better. it's nice that people can organize the way they want but i wish by default the order was what i set. i also wish there were folders so i could group the marketing dashboards all in 1 spot then give everyone access to that folder instead of one by one. so i try to color code the dashboards to make it easier but not everyone is going to get that. i also don't like that anyone can share the datawall of a dashboard and then they get added to the account. i wish there was a verification process that would notify me when someone new is trying to view a dashboard. but b/c people can just share i see random emails get created and i want to be able to have more control of our data and make sure they are seeing only the things they should be seeing

The visualizations are great. The visual options are really some of the best I've seen.
Nachteile
Databox probably has the worst customer support of any software company I've ever deal with. That's not an exaggeration or hyperbole, it is absolutely atrocious. It can take hours or days to get a support response that's so obviously incorrect that a user with just a couple hours on the platform would know that it's wrong.

For us databox has given us great visualisation on the data and creating reports from different sources such as Hubspot, bigcommerce, google analytics, search console, etc. All in one place to understand our metrics and create effective reports. Scheduling reports are very easy too and helpful
