It is also unclear whether Tock Seng should be input as the First name (based on the fact that it is a given name), or as the Middle and Last name (based on order). So the person would go by "Raymond Elliot Tan" if speaking with people who use Western name conventions, or "Tan Tock Seng" if speaking with people who use Asian name conventions.
