I just want to see "what is the latest donation?" "show me the last 5 donations" and I cannot get that answer immediately. It takes at least 8 clicks (Reports \> Report Center \> choose report \> four clicks to set period \> hit Run Report) and a little time drinking coffee before you can see the answer. DP is user-friendly in that, it has its own language and logic about where any information or feature is. A new user who's less tech literate will have to learn this, and yes there ARE resources, webinars, on-demand webinars, help articles, support chats, all available for you to fully master DonorPerfect. I am not sure how much of what you learn could be applied outside of DP. An impatient user familiar with databases will throw up their hands immediately just like I did. > > I work with nonprofit industry veterans (maybe combined experience of 50+ years) and none of them are DP experts. What I mean is that, none of their "let's do this" is easily accomplished on the DP platform. I am heavily involved in our end-of-year donations process and realizing that we're NOT using DP to track our outreach and donations received; but using DP as a redundant CRM that has to be updated manually.
